This ENEX, under the subtitle “Energy Conservation and New Energy (34th Energy and Environment Exhibition)”, is held by ECCJ as a major commemorative event for the Energy Conservation Month of February. Numerous exhibits were set up for this year’s event to comprise the two pivotal themed exhibit areas: “Smart-Life Zone” and “Business Zone”. At the former, the “Smart-Life Zone”, its focused concept was the idea of the pursuit of environmentally-friendly lifestyle. At the latter, the “Business Zone”, its focused concept was the idea of facilitating the energy solution business. Because of these two specified zones, all visitors were timely provided with a variety of energy and environmental related information in both industry and lifestyle fields. There was also an award exhibit section set up where all products which received the Energy Conservation Grand Prize were on display for the first time since its public announcement of the winners on January 29th.
At the event, there were also technology related exhibits set up where visitors could reach the information on Japan’s state of art technology. At the booth, the information on Japan’s renewable energy related equipment, which are expected to be further disseminated, and the new type of technologies, which will expectedly be disseminated in the future were both presented for visitors. There were also many other seminars and exhibits set up where visitors could share the law and policy related information including on the revised Energy Conservation Act.
Also, there was an exhibition booth set up for the purpose of facilitating the international energy and energy conservation cooperation. The information was not limited to Japan’s energy and energy conservation related policy, but also on the state of Japan’s technologies which have been successfully transferred to developing countries, as well as on the state of the application and dissemination. These international cooperation efforts have been realized through ECCJ’s expert dispatching and trainee acceptance projects.
