Japanese Government Announced the Names of Retails Stores of Energy Efficient Product

The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) certifies and honors "Excellent Retail Stores of Energy Efficient Products" under the "Accreditation System of Energy Efficient Product Retailing Promotion Store", which is aimed at assessing home appliance retailers' efforts to promote energy-efficient products. In response to the call for entry for FY 2009, 796 stores applied. Through a stringent review procedure, 695 of them were certified as FY 2009 Excellent Retail Stores of Energy Efficient Products.
