Energy White Paper Published

Agency for Natural Resources and Energy (Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry) announced its publication of Energy White Paper for the fiscal year 2009. This Energy White Paper is an annual compilation of government measures taken to deal with the issues surrounding energy supply and demand in Japan. This publication is made every year according to the Basic Act on Energy Policy enforced in 2002. In its Article 11, the government has to draft and publish the report. This year’s report already received a cabinet approval on June 15 and was submitted to the Diet.
