Debate on new passenger vehicles fuel efficiency standards to start

The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and the Ministry of Land, infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) decided to initiate a detailed debate for the establishment of new passenger vehicles fuel efficiency standards by organizing a joint meeting of experts.
