ENEX 2010 Exhibition
Japan’s International Cooperation on Energy Conservation

AEEC supported the international cooperation booth run by the Agency for Natural Resources and Energy of METI (Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry) at ENEX 2010 (Tokyo Big Sight). In the booth, we introduced the activities by energy conservation promotion organizations from East Asian countries to which Japan has provided cooperation in addition to the actual record and outcome of Japan’s international cooperation.
During the exhibition, there were more than 400 visitors including scheduled guest from overseas such as participants of the Forth Workshop on Energy Conservation Collaboration for East Asia (4th ECC-WS), the 8th Training Program on Energy Conservation for Thailand, and the 8th Training Program on Energy Conservation for India.
Display panels were placed into 3 groups, “Energy Trend of the World and Asia”, “International Cooperation Status of Energy Conservation and Renewable Energy”, and “EE&C Policy and Best Practice of EE&C Measures in East Asian Countries”, specifying Japan’s international cooperation on energy conservation to visitors.
Also, in the afternoon of the first day, “Workshop on needs of EE&C equipment in Asian countries” was held in an attached conference room at Tokyo Big Sight. The participants of 4th ECC-WS, member companies of Japanese Business Alliance for Smart Energy Worldwide (JASE-W), and general visitors actively exchanged opinions on the status of energy conservation promotion and specific needs of energy efficient equipment in each country.
