2.2 Number of designated factories （as of end March 2008）

2.3 Obligations of Type1 Designated Energy Management Factories (A)

To implement energy conservation according to the Evaluation Criteria
To appoint energy managers

(Note; industries other than the 5 designated industries are exempt from selecting an energy manager. They must, however, select a energy management officer.)

To submit periodical report (every year)
To design and submit mid- & long-term plan of energy conservation (every year)
mid-&long-term:for next 3~5 years

(Note; participation of Qualified Person for Energy Management is Mandatory.)

2.4 Obligations of Type 2 Designated Energy Management Factories (B)

To implement energy conservation according to the Evaluation Criteria
To appoint energy management officer
To make officer take designated training course on energy conservation (once per 3years)
To submit periodical report (every year)
