Evaluation Criteria for Manufacturing Plants and Business Establishments
(c). Composition of standards component
  • Four elements that comprise the basic standards component:
    • (1) Control management
      • Items that must be managed are specifically stipulated for each facility that is relevant to six areas, which must be observed.
      • Example: Combustion of fuel (control of air ratio, adjustment of combustion load, etc.).
      (2) Measurements and records
      • Items for measuring and recording that must be stipulated by control standards are specifically stipulated.
      • Example: Combustion of fuel (measuring and recording of exhaust gas temperature, residual oxygen amount, etc.).
      (3) Maintenance and inspection
      • Items for maintenance and inspection that must be stipulated by control standards are specifically stipulated.
      • Example: Combustion facilities (favorable conditions sustained by conducting periodical maintenance and inspection).
      (4) Provisions implemented for new installations
      • Example: Combustion facilities (new installation of facilities that enables adjustment of fuel amounts and air ratios in response to load fluctuations).
