- Four elements that comprise the basic standards component:
(1) Control management
- Items that must be managed are specifically stipulated for each facility that is relevant to six areas, which must be observed.
- Example: Combustion of fuel (control of air ratio, adjustment of combustion load, etc.).
(2) Measurements and records
- Items for measuring and recording that must be stipulated by control standards are specifically stipulated.
- Example: Combustion of fuel (measuring and recording of exhaust gas temperature, residual oxygen amount, etc.).
(3) Maintenance and inspection
- Items for maintenance and inspection that must be stipulated by control standards are specifically stipulated.
- Example: Combustion facilities (favorable conditions sustained by conducting periodical maintenance and inspection).
(4) Provisions implemented for new installations
- Example: Combustion facilities (new installation of facilities that enables adjustment of fuel amounts and air ratios in response to load fluctuations).
