2.Causes of the Increase of Energy Consumption in the Transport Sector 1
  • Motorization began in Japan in the 1960s and ever since , demand for automobiles has increased rapidly and this trend continues today.
  • In response to this demand for automobiles, paved roads and expressways have been developed to cope with increased traffic.

3.Causes of the Increase of Energy Consumption in the Transport Sector 2
  • A significant cause of the increased consumption of energy by the transport sector is the increase of trasportation by automobiles that have a low unit ratio of consumption. The unit ratio of consumption of aircraft has improved and in recent years, is better than that of automobiles.
