Obligations of 1st Class Designated Energy Management Factories (A)
( 6,118 factories/2002 )

To implement energy conservation according to management standards
To appoint energy managers
(Note; Industries other than the 5 designated industries are exempt from selecting
an energy manager. They must, however, select a energy officer.)
To submit periodical report (every year)
To design and submit mid- & long-term plan of energy conservation (every year)
mid-&long-term:for next 3~5 years
(Note; Participation of Qualified Person for Energy Management is Mandatory.)
