Narrowing down subject items for improvement

Narrow down items to those of the greatest importance
(e.g., items that have potential for remarkable improvement).

Example: Select items by guess;
Engineers and operators who work on the shop floor all the time know what should be improved.
But, their views are not always the best.

Example: Compare numerical values;

To show in "unit consumption" is effective.

Investigation data covering a certain period of time
are necessary.

Arrange the values in descending order.
Quantitative comparison makes it possible to pick out the best items.
