4. CONCLUDING REMERKS


  • Japan is pressed to promote energy conservation activities toward the achievement of the Kyoto emission target.
  • HiCOT is the most effective measures to reduce energy consumption of the industrial furnaces.
  • HiCOT is being applied to other combustors such as pulverized coal boilers, incinerators and steam reformers, and we are looking for further applications.
