(3) Top Policy and proper Organization
  • (Prerequisites of Energy Audit)
  • 1. Top management shall announce Clear Top
  • Policy of Energy Conservation (with Goals)
  • 2. Proper EC Organization shall be established
  • to promote EC activities
  • ( Energy Manager, Committee or the like,
  • depending on the features of the factory)
(4) Data Collection (including Measurements)

  • Energy Intensity(or specific energy consumption)
  • defined as : Energy consumed per unit production*
  • (*or sometimes throughput)
  • Historical data (for at least 2 years) should be reviewed
