2.5.2 To enable the same person to act as energy manager
and also the qualified person for energy management
  • To enable the energy manager/qualified person for energy management to carry out his/her activities effectively
  • The following conditions must be satisfied.
    [Regarding rationalization of energy use, when it is recognized that there is no problem in managing the maintenance of equipment that consumes energy, the improvement of the method of using energy, the monitoring of the use of energy, and the duties stipulated in Article 10, and also when approval has been obtained from the head of the Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry]

    Article 10: Maintenance of equipment related to rationalization of energy use, reporting on the work by issuing periodic reports, for example, and performing witnessed inspections

2.8 Roles of Energy Manager (A) & Energy Officer (B)
under the Energy Conservation Law
  1. Responsible for
    • maintaining facilities for energy consumption
    • improving & supervising energy usage
    • conducting all business for energy conservation
  2. Enterpriser shall respect his/her opinions
  3. Employee shall follow his / her instruction
