2. What Is the Energy Conservation Law?
Purpose of the Energy Conservation Law
With an oil crisis as a turning point, the Energy Conservation Law (concerning rational use of energy) was enacted in 1979 in order to;

  1. Ensure effective use of fuel resources according to a socioeconomic environment over domestic and overseas energy issues.
  2. Take necessary steps to promote overall rational use of energy as the factories, transportation, buildings, and machinery and tools.
