  • EC program has to be mandatory for all sectors especially in industries and buildings
  • EC program has to be prioritized as an energy policy and regulation/EC Law

COMMON BARRIERS
  • No existing Energy Conservation Law
    • Not enough support from policy makers
  • No existing energy manager system
  • Lack of awareness of industry and building owners and top management on the importance of energy conservation
  • Insufficient budget to implement energy conservation activities
  • Lack of human resources/manpower to implement the standards
    • Limited staff in charge of EC activities
    • Limited capability
