| 1) Major steam-based systems are provided with a DCS, allowing you to see the temperature, pressure, flow rate, etc., plus the trend, in the operator's screen at real time. |
(3) Inspection and maintenance of the heating system, etc. |

1) The heat transfer surface of the boiler is cleaned at the time of annual or biannual periodic inspection. The pipe is measured of its wall thickness and replaced if required. 2) The heat exchanger, etc. used for the papermaking machine, pulping equipment, etc. are monitored with a measuring system and inspected and serviced at the next shutdown time, if any abnormality is found. |
