| 1) Inspection and maintenance of the gas air preheater (GAH) A steam soot blower is activated about every 8 hours to clean the element surface. A low-temperature element tends to quickly get corroded, its trend is monitored to replace it ahead of time. An air leak rate is measured to replace a sealing plate, etc., if it worsens. |
