[Estimation of energy conservation effect when supply water temperature is raised to 11 degrees C in midseason and winter]

Conclusion

  • Conclusion
    • - For chillers with degrading performance, improvement of COP by changing outlet temperature of chilled water may be greater than general COP improvement effect.
      - It is assumed that changing outlet temperature of chilled water is effective for mitigating the impact by degraded performance of the chiller.

  • Future development
    • - Improving the setting of chilled water outlet temperature in midseason
      - Establishing update schedule of depleted equipment at an early date
