1. Standards of Judgment and Energy Conservation
1.1.2

  1. Business operators shall improve the management framework of their factories, etc. to rationalize efficient and effictive use of energy as a whole.
  2. Business operators shall appoint a person incharge of the management framework (for specified business operators and specified chain business operators, “energy management control officer”) improved by A.
  3. Business operators shall establish policies regarding rational use of energy in their factories, etc. (hereinafter referred to as “Policies”) In doing so, the Policies shall include targets of rational use of energy and policies on new installation and update of facilities.
  4. Business operators shall confirm how the Policies are enforced in their factories, etc. as well as evaluating them. In the event that the evaluation indicates insufficient result, improvement shall be performed.
  5. Business operators shall regularly investigate the policies on efforts and methods to evaluate how the policies are enforced to change them as appropriate.
  6. Business operators shall create, update, and maintain a document that describes the names, locations, and energy usage amounts related to their factories, etc. to grasp the situation.

  • 1.3 Detail of Standards of Judgment
    I Standards of rationalization of energy usage

    1 Items related to rational use of energy in factories, etc. that is used exclusively for an office or any other usage similar thereto

    (1) Items relating to air conditioning systems and ventilation equipment
    (2) Items relating to boiler facilities and hot water supply facilities
    (3) Items relating to lighting systems, elevators, and engine facilities
    (4) Items relating to power receiving and transformation facilities and BEMS
    (5) Items relating to dedicated power generation facilities and cogeneration facilities
    (6) Items relating to office equipment and commercial facilities
    (7) Items relating to professional-use facilities
    (8) Items relating to other rational use of energy

  • 2 Items related to rational use of energy in a factory that is used for a business falling witching an industry (other than those prescribed in 1)
      The areas indecated in red are described in this document.
    (1) Rationalization of fuel combustion
    (2) Rationalization of heating, cooling, and heat transfer
      (2-1) Heating facility, etc.
      (2-2) Air conditioning systems and hot water supply facilities
    (3) Recovery and utilization of waste heat
    (4) Rationalization of conversion of heat into power, etc.
      (4-1) Dedicated power generation facilities
      (4-2) Cogeneration facility
    (5) Prevention of energy loss due to radiation, conduction, and resistance, etc.
      (5-1) Prevention of heat loss due to radiation and conduction, etc.
      (5-2) Prevention of heat loss due to resistance, etc.
    (6) Rationalization of conversion of electricity into power and heat, etc.
       (6-1) Electrically-powered facilities and electrical heating facilities, etc.
      (6-2) Lighting systems, elevators, office equipment, and commercial facilities
