- (6-1) Electrically-powered facilities and electrical heating facilities, etc.
(1) Management of motor applied facilities and electric heaters
- For motor applied facilities, a management manual shall be specified to stop operation when unnecessary to prevent electrical loss due to motor's idle operation, taking into account of the relation with the power needed to start operation.
- When using multiple electric motors, a management manual shall be specified to adjust the number of operated units and to balance load appropriately so that the comprehensive efficiency of the motors is improved considering the efficiency during partial load.
- For fluid machines such as pumps, fans, blowers, and compressors, pressure at the used point and delivery feed shall be reviewed and a management manual shall be specified regarding how to determine the number of operating units and change the number of rotations, etc. to reduce load of motors. If variation of load fluctuation is constant, measures such as change of pipe work and ducts, and impeller trimming, etc. shall be considered.
