Energy Conservation Checklist |
First : User Energy Conservation Policy
User energy conservation policy is where conservation is centered on the efforts of the users themselves such as "moderation of room temperature" and "turning lights off during lunch" etc. Reduction of these loads is a first step in the process towards energy conservation. |
Second : Energy Conservation Policy for Operation
Energy conservation policy for operation is the operating of current equipment at a high efficiency and streamlining energy usage and tuning of devices and systems is a representative example. This measure enables energy conservation without placing a burden on users and is therefore a fundamental method of energy management. |
Third : Energy Conservation Policy Investment with Short Term Recovery
Energy conservation policies based on short term recovery are measures where generally the effect of the energy conservation measure enables a cost reduction that enables recovery of investment in 3 ~ 5 years. While amount of years required for recovery is different for the same measure with different types of buildings, in general when the efficiency of the current equipment is low or the switching to an inverter for pumps and fans that have been operating for a long period, recovery period greatly shortens. In this case, the ESCO method is used in a lot of instances. |
Fourth : Energy Conservation Policy Updates
Energy conservation policy based on renewal is the introduction of high efficient devices and systems in the event of large scale repair or replacement accompanying deterioration of equipment. The primary policy is the development of a mid to long term plan for investigation of guidelines in order to meet the energy conservation law. |
