- Target value: at the previous example case, “the standard value” should be selected for the target, to control the operation in sound condition.
For improvement, usually we decide the target value based on
actual value (including Bench-mark), or
theoretical calculation value, or
facility design value (nominal capacity value), etc..
- Improvement measures ---- usually we start from the 1st step (<no/low cost measures> operational improvement and maintenance activities) ,and step up to the 2nd, 3rd step.
