- “Specification-based standards (commonly called as the point method)” based on the specifications of buildings and facilities. These standards can be applied only to buildings having a floor area of 2,000 m2 or less.
The value is calculated by adding the value selected from “Application correction points to correct difference due to the building type and regional classification” to the total of the evaluation scores shown in (1) to (2) below.
The higher this value, the more efficient energy use is. It is required that the evaluation score be 100 points or more for all building types.

Tables 3.6 and 3.7 shows the method of evaluation of (1) and (2), Table 3.8 shows the application and district correction points.
