2 Standards of Judgment and Energy Conservation Regarding Power Receiving and Transformation Facilities
2-2
    1. When a single-phase load is connected to a three-phase power source, a management manual shall be specified to prevent voltage imbalance.
    2. A management manual shall be specified for operation of facilities that use electricity (hereinafter referred to as "electricity-using facilities") to adjust and equalize the power consumption to reduce the maximum current.
    3. In addition, a management manual shall be specified for items required to reduce electricity loss including voltage and current of power receiving and transformation facilities and power distribution facilities according to the type, operation status, and capacity of electricity-using facilities to manage electricity supply to the electricity-using facilities.

2-3
  • (2) Measurement & recording related to power receiving and transformation facilities and power distribution facilities
A management manual shall be specified regarding measurement and record of items required to reduce electricity loss including voltage and current of power receiving and transformation facilities and power distribution facilities as well as electricity usage in the factory, and these items shall be regularly measured and recorded .

    (3) Maintenance and inspection of power receiving and transformation facilities and power distribution facilities
A management manual shall be specified for power receiving and transformation facilities and power distribution facilities regarding maintenance and inspection, and regular maintenance and inspection shall be enforced to maintain the facilities in good condition.

    (4) Measures in installing new power receiving and transformation facilities and power distribution facilities
    1. When newly installing power receiving and transformation facilities and power distribution facilities, actual record and future trend of power demands shall be comprehensively reviewed to determine arrangement of power receiving and transformation facilities, power distribution voltages, and facility capacities.
    2. When introducing a equipment related to power receiving and transformation facilities that falls into specified equipment, the energy efficiency of the equipment shall comply with or higher than the levels stipulated in the standards for manufacturers' evaluation criteria for transformers performance.

2.4 Energy conservation of power receivers and distributors (Reference)
