[1] Compressor system
Introduction of the multiple unit control system, ietc.
1) Reduction of no-load operation time
- The poor response in controlling was such that it allowed the second compressor to start even immediately after the first compressor started. The lag time for the second compressor to start after waiting to confirm the effect by the first compressor was adjusted.
- A given length of downing time (cooling time) was set for the compressor. Once the compressor was started, the compressor was set to run for 20 minutes, regardless of whether the compressor is under load or not. Further, a given length of “no-load operation” was set before the compressor could stop. The set value was modified and the time of the “no-load operation” was reduced.
Rate of no-load operation:34% on average -> 14% on average
2) Installation of a high-efficiency compressor
A high-efficiency compressor was installed anew for base-load operation, with fluctuating partial loads covered by single-stage compressors under multiple unit control. An inverter controlled refrigerating dryer system was adopted.
