School can use a certain part of saving expenses equivalent by themselves.
Allocation ratio in school and local government depends on each case.

[Reference information] Measure to reduce summer cooling load in offices
  • Raising the cooling temperature setting from 26℃ to 28℃ can cut the consumption of air-conditioning energy by about 17%.
  • If all office buildings from across Japan introduces this measure, 310,000 kL of crude oil, equivalent to 1.55 million drums, can be saved.
  • If an office worker takes off his jacket and removes his tie, his perceived room temperature will fall by 2℃.
  • To save energy and help reduce greenhouse gas emissions through the optimization of office cooling temperature settings, appeals are being made to work in light clothing in summer.

■ In summer 2005, 29.0% of all companies and local governments introduced light clothing, bringing the total rate of introduction to 78.3%.
