Enforcement of the revised energy conservation law : Including an energy conservation plan certification system and the new regulation to regulate mail order companies

On November 27, government decided to implement the revised Energy Conservation Law on December 1st. The law incorporates the establishment of an energy conservation plan certification system in the collaboration among multiple business operators, also includes the new regulations to regulate mail order companies, and was established at the ordinary diet session this year. Cabinet decision on the enforcement date, etc. was made in November 27. The regulations for the net mail order business operators will be enforced from April 1, 2020.
