6 Fields of Judgment Criteria (Reference Part)
|
2. Rationalization of heating, cooling and thermal transmission 2-1 Heating equipment, etc. 2-2 Air conditioning equipment, hot water supply equipment, etc 3. Recovering of discharged heat 4. Rationalization of conversion from heat to power, etc. 4-1 Equipment used only for power generation 4-2 Co-generation equipment 5. Prevent loss of heat due to radiation, thermal conduction, resistance, etc. 5-1 Prevent loss of heat due to radiation, thermal conduction, etc. 5-2 Prevent loss of heat due to resistance, etc. 6. Rationalization of conversion from electricity to power, heat, etc. 6-1 Electric power equipment, electric heating equipment, etc. 6-2 Lighting equipment, elevators, office equipment, consumer products, etc. |

2.3 Judgment Criteria and Reference Data |
(1) Management of fuel combustion 1) Management of air ratio according to the combustion equipment and the type of fuel. 2) The combustion equipment decreases the air ratio based on the separate table 1(A). 3) When multiple pieces of combustion equipment are used, manage them in a way that increases thermal efficiency of the entire equipment. 4) Manage the nature of fuel in a way that improves thermal efficiency. |

Fuel saving by improving air ratio of boilers (Reference) | |
- There is little difference between 13A gas and A heavy oil as far as fuel reduction rate is concerned. - The trial calculation applied to the right figure assumes that the discharge gas temperature is 450. If the discharge gas temperature is low, the efficiency ratio also goes down. - (Example of use) If the discharged oxygen density can be reduced from 6% to 3%, fuel can be saved approximately 4% (on calculation). |
