Dispatch of experts to China for the Energy Conservation suppor project

Under the instruction and financial support of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), the Energy Conservation Center, Japan (ECCJ) dispatched the experts to conduct support activities on June 8 and 9, 2017, focusing on energy conservation in the steel sector for promoting energy conservation in China, jointly with the National Energy Conservation Center of China.
This dispatch of experts was conducted for the purpose of seminar introductions and lectures of energy conservation technologies and energy management methodologies intended for political officials and on-site energy managers.

Discussion with the National Energy Conservation Center of China after the seminar

 

This seminar picked up energy conservation promotion measures in the steel sector and was participated by many people of the steel sector in China. Energy conservation in the steel sector needs to be further developed in China from a viewpoint of reducing greenhouse gas emission and this seminar activity is aimed to contribute to that end.
As specific topics, energy conservation situations in the steel sector in Japan and China, energy conservation methods and energy management trend in the industrial and steel sectors in Japan, and measures for energy conservation and prevention of global warming in the Japanese steel industry, were reported and actively discussed.
