Implementation of Energy Conservation support program (First dispatch of experts) for Vietnam
Under the instruction and financial support of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), the Energy Conservation Center, Japan (ECCJ) implemented an energy conservation support program for Vietnam, such as establishment of training program and training for the trainers of Energy Management Training Center (EMTC) Hanoi and to introduce Energy Conservation Guideline (EC Guideline) of Japan.
ECCJ dispatched experts to Vietnam to discuss about the practical action plan on May, 2018.

EMTC, Ho Chi Minh has established in 2015 under the support of JICA and implements practical training for Energy Conservation Manager and Auditor under the Energy Conservation Law.
Now EMTC, Hanoi is under construction. As ECCJ has been supporting for Vietnam, MOIT required ECCJ to support for establishment of EMTC, Hanoi for its program and training for the trainers.
ECCJ dispatched experts to confirm current situation of the EMTC which is under construction, discuss how to proceed the project concerning its training equipment.
As for another objective such as Introduction of EC Guideline, ECCJ handed over it for further understanding. MOIT will study how to import to Vietnam and will inform ECCJ soon.
