Developing the World’s Best Energy-Efficient Appliances

The Top Runner Program was introduced in 1999 as a countermeasure to reduce energy consumption in civil sector and transportation sector. This program is the standard of energy efficiency for products and applied to 31 products of machinery, equipment and vehicles prescribed under the Energy Conservation Law.

This video was recorded at ENEX 2008 in Tokyo. AEEC made a debut producing the original booth for the first time. The event achieved a great success by tremendous efforts of staff involved and tens of thousands of visitors.

Training in Japan

 

 

ECCJ is implementing the training program by inviting governmental officers and experts from Asian countries. Through this program, ECCJ introduced Japanese legislation system, policy and measures, and technology on energy conservation to China, India and ASEAN countries.
