Dispatched experts as part of the Energy Conservation support project for China

Attendance of the Energy Conservation practical work examinations for the “Qualified Energy Manager Leader Capacity Building Project” in Brunei and Myanmar

Under the instruction and financial support of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) for the international energy usage rationalization measures program (EE&C capacity building program), the Energy Conservation Center, Japan (ECCJ) visited Brunei on December 12, 2017, and Myanmar on December 14 to attend the energy conservation practical work examinations in each state as part of the “Leader capacity building project of the qualified energy manager capacity building program”. Implementation of the Post Meeting of the FY2017 ASEAN Energy Conservation support project for ASEAN countries

Under the instruction and financial support of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), the Energy Conservation Center, Japan (ECCJ) held the Post Meeting of the ASEAN-JAPAN Energy Efficiency Partnership (AJEEP) over the two-day period between February 27 and 28, 2018 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where discussions were held with each of the ASEAN countries regarding the results and issues relating to the current fiscal year’s project implementation details.READ MORE

Implementation of ECAP14 (Training Program) for ASEAN countries

Under the instruction and financial support of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), the Energy Conservation Center, Japan (ECCJ) implemented training targeting the persons in charge of building-related divisions in the governments of the 10 ASEAN countries and in the ACE (ASEAN coordinator) during the five-day period between November 27 and December 1, 2017. Dispatch of experts to a Steering Committee Meeting held to develop “Energy Conservation Guidelines” in India

Under the instruction and financial support of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), the Energy Conservation Center, Japan (ECCJ) implemented support for the introduction of “Energy Conservation Guidelines” to the Indian industrial sector as the project for India in the current fiscal year. ECCJ participated in the “Interactive Session on Draft Energy Conservation Guidelines” held by the Indian Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) on Friday, November 24, 2017 and provided cooperation for the formulation of an Indian version of the “Energy Conservation Guidelines”.
